AEW’s Double or Nothing show is estimated to have an impressive 98,000 buyrate for their inaugural pay-per-view.
In addition to the buy rate, AEW had over 200,000 searches on Google Trends, topping UFC 237 while lapping WWE Money in the Bank by a whopping 35%.
AEW is primed to continue its steady pursuit of a significant market share in a once WWE monopolized industry. With a TV deal on TNT coming in the fall of 2019, its next major event, All Out, will take place on Labor Day weekend. The event is a follow-up to the historic All In pay-per-view, which drew an estimated 55,000 buys.
