Aleister Black will not be wrestling at WWE’s Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia on June 7 because the company believes some of his tattoos have religious meanings.
None of WWE’s women superstars will be wrestling at the show either. WWE has billed its Super ShowDown event as an extravaganza bigger than WrestleMania. However, because where the show is located, it won’t feature some of the company’s most popular superstars.
Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will also not be attending the event. Zayn is out because he has Syrian heritage. Owens has backed out in support of Zayn. Daniel Bryan does not agree with the political connotations of the event.
Super ShowDown will be headlined by a first-ever match between Goldberg and The Undertaker.
