Charlotte Flair – New WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion

Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka on tonight’s SmackDown Live to capture a historic eighth women’s championship.

After a lengthy and exciting match – a rematch from their WrestleMania 34 – Charlotte would again cause Asuka to tap out with the Figure Eight.

Charlotte will now head into WrestleMania in what is shaping up to be a unification match with the Raw Women’s Championship already on the line.

WrestleMania will take place on Sunday, April 7, in front of a capacity crowd at MetLife Stadium.

I agree with them if they do unify the titles. There isn’t enough female talent for two work titles at the moment. Hell, I would even unify the men’s titles. Having two “champions” is a bad idea. Which one is more valuable?
