Ric Flair is in the recovery room after a successful surgery on Monday.
“Doctors said the procedure was a success,” his wife, Wendy Barlow, said. Doctors expect Flair to make a full recovery.
Flair, who had a serious health scare last year and was on life support for 10 days, was hospitalized this past Thursday.
It has not been made clear exactly what procedure Flair had, but it was serious enough for him to pull out of “The Roast of Ric Flair” that was supposed to happen at Starrcast on May 24. The event was happening ahead of All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view, “Double or Nothing.”
The 16-time world champion was supposed to have surgery last Friday, but it was postponed until Monday because of “complications.”
